KAMPALA: The Judicial Training Institute (JTI)hosted a delegation from the Uganda Bankers Association (UBA).

The four-member was led by the Executive Director UBA, Mr. Wilbrod Owen,Chairperson Legal, Mrs. Angelina Namakula Ofwono, Ms. Dorothy Ochola, and Ms. Noella Nangira Wabwire.

The meeting, which was attended by the JTI Executive Director, Hon. Justice Dr.Henry Peter Adonyo, Registrar Research and Training, HW Isaac Muwata and Deputy Registrar, HW Moses Gabriel Angualia, was to explore possible collaboration ventures.

Among the areas identified is capacity building sessions for Judicial Officers on issues of banking as per the MOU.

Another area that was explored is securing a slot at the upcoming Annual Judges Conference to discuss banking and related issues.
